There have been insufficient tests done to understand the ramifications of changing the genetic make-up of plants, and also what happens when you creating an environment where the GMO plants infect organic plants and the varieties of plants become more limited. Until we have at least 50 years of information, we should be very wary of allowing something so radical with no oversight.
